GREAT FANS!!!
We just received and installed (easily) the Speakeasy and it's beautiful and most importantly; quiet!!! The Speakeasy is our 5th indoor fan by BAF's and they are good looking and quiet and move air brilliantly. There is no other fan that we found that can match up to the BAF's. I also purchased three large industrial fans years ago for a high ceiling office and they were remarkably quiet and worked without hitch for years since. Love BAF's... if you can't tell by now!

Very nice looking fan
I’ve had this fan for 3 months now and it is silent, moves a ton of air and looks fantastic. It mixes traditional and modern style very well. I have another BAF which is why we didn’t even look at other brands. When installing make sure the bezel reveal is perfect all the way around the motor before turning it to install. They are amazing fans!

Great looking fan
We bought this fan about 2 months ago as a new release. We were in the middle of a full home rehab and just got it installed about a week ago.
This thing looks great up there. It was easier to assemble and install than any typical fan. Definitely get your moneys worth on assembly. The downrod extensions are even pre-wired. Just click together the harness and good to go.
We have had this fan connected to the BAF app for a week as well. With time to play around with it we found the “woosh” mode to be a neat idea. It varies the speed of the fan to mimic a breeze, instead of a consistent flow of air. The fan is super responsive to the app. Unfortunately, this thing is not HomeKit compatible. But it is connectable to Alexa(forget us HomeKit guys) and Ecobee. The ecobee connection has been absolutely useless. I have confirmed connection in both Ecobee and the BAF app. Auto mode does not seem to function 50% of the time. Maybe a bug that was corrected, as it has been working for the past 12 hours. It works with Ecobee, turning on with a call for heat or cool to assist in consistent air temps. This was a major reason we purchased this item.
I’ve attempted to call multiple times, to figure out the auto mode issues, following the prompts. Each time you select residential installation you’re sent to a recording that nobody is available at this time. Call back later. That’s it. I will attempt another method soon. Adding to that, I’m not sure if it is an app issue or phone issue but when using the BAF app to call support you get a pop up on screen. You click “Call 877-BIG-FANS”. But when you do it actually calls a completely different (855) number that has been disconnected. That is just feedback that isn’t incorporated into my rating of the product.

Amazing Fan, Atrocious Install
The fan looks and performs great. Fantastic build quality and materials, just like all of their fans. The true hangup with this is how awful it is to install this fan.
If you're using a longer downrod, you'll be perfectly fine, but if you're using the supplied downrod you have wire slack in fractions of an inch that you need to connect completely blind because the wiring cover sits so high that it's just above the mounting ball
The only way this was made possible was by not installing the blades first. That makes the install nearly impossible because you have no way of getting high enough to see over the cowl. Holding the fan steady and adding the blades after the fact made the install dramatically easier but it was still a wildly difficult task that could have been made profoundly easier if the wiring cover was able to sit lower over the motor unit trim so that you didn't have to do the whole mounting and assembly blind.
Overall I'd definitely recommend this fan as well as other products from BigAssFans, but the installs are dramatically more complicated than they need to be.

The Speakeasy -
I purchased the 60" speak easy fan and this was the easiest fan I have ever installed. I have installed a LOT of fans in my life and this one was absolutely a piece of cake. The engineers nailed it. The instructions were clear and concise and Wi-Fi pairing the remote was a breeze. When guests visit, they mention the fan whether it is running or not. We are not having to run the A/C as much due to the great air flow from this fan. The old fan, in hindsight, was simply inefficient. The appearance would complement any room. I bought the White with gold accents, and it is a classy looking fan.

Beautiful Fan - Speakeasy
The Speakeasy fan from BAF is definitely a head turner. The gold and black of the fan blend in nicely with the darker finishes in our home. The Speakeasy is quiet and smooth in operation.
This review would have been 5 stars if the electrical connections came with the same toggle type connectors the Haiku had come with. Also, the Speakeasy does not connect to an Ecobee Thermostat as the Haiku is able to.
Otherwise, the Speakeasy is another great product from an amazing company. Keep it up BAF!
