Would like to know if the 240V Vesper or Obsidian (and which wattage) would be best to keep an insulated shop (26'x42'x16') at around 50 deg in the winter, but be energy efficient? I know this would require a thermostat, which needs to be accounted for.
We would recommend multiple heaters to keep your large shop space heated. The Vesper 3200W heater covers up to 80 sq ft while the 6000W Obsidian heater covers up to 160 sq ft. (3000W Obsidian covers 120 sq ft). To heat your large space, you will need multiple heaters in order to regulate the temperature. We recommend placing a heater around each sitting or working space you want to feel direct heat at and allowing the set up of your space to determine the quantity.
