Great Big Ass Fan!!!
Purchased this evaporate cooler for our shop on our property. It's a un-insulated 40x60 with 12 ft walls. She's probably a lil big for its new home. But with upper 90 low 100's in a metal building was just unbearable and brutal here with Midwest humidity.
Pallet was constructed really well and heavy walled cardboard protected the unit while in transit via LTL carrier. Love it and first came across your product at a BNSF Railroad whse several years ago in Topeka KS.
Thank you for fast shipping and offering a discount on a Labor Day sale. It made a expensive but well built cooler more wallet friendly for this blue collar worker.

This WORKs Great!
Looks like your engineers were spot on. Two Units can do our job beautifully. We are finally getting some warm weather and had a chance to test them out. They work even better than expected. I was leery of using one in an office environment with people on the phone and working with customers. No problem though. Is it loud? Sort of, I can hear it but, I can use the phone, speak in a normal tone and hear just fine. The big thing is it’s cool. You said it can drop the incoming air temperature 20 degrees, yes it can, we measured the temperature and it went to 22 degrees about 6 feet in front of the outflow. The 300 is more than adequate for our 1100 square foot office and the 500 should handle our 1800 square foot bindery just fine.
We did measure a 12% rise in humidity from 24% to 36%. That’s great! We are a print shop and static is an ongoing problem. 40% to 50% is ideal for us but, 36% keeps the static problem in check quite well.
Our Big Ass Fans do the job for us and we expect to finally have a comfortable summer.

Amazing Product with better than expected results!
We recently expanded from 30k sq/ft to 90k sq/ft warehouse. By June the inside temps were reaching well into the upper 90's inside making it unbearable for our staff to work comfortably.
I reached out to Big Ass Fans for a quote and they sent a sales rep. over the next day. They reviewed the area we were wanting to cool and came back with several options.
We chose (2) of the Cool-Space 400's to circulate the air.
Within hours of installation they had cooled the inside temp dramatically and everyone was happy!!! We could not be more pleased with our purchase!
Not to mention their customer service is also A+.
I would recommend this product to anyone wanted an instant solution and a cooler work environment!

Dependable, great service and backing.
Here in Arizona fans and swamp coolers are a necessity in the summer. We wouldn't get much production from our welders without them. The amount of cooler air pushed through weld cells and larger projects outside is great. We have overhead ceiling fans and swamp coolers; the backing/follow up and service from Big Ass fans has been phenomenal.

A Cold Front in the Summer!!
I was skeptical before the Cold Front arrived. Because it has been a hot June in Louisiana and a cold front is too rare. But the BAF Cold Front 400 has been everything we wanted and more.

Works well for the patio …but
Love BAF products and own many. BUT I made an assumption here - BAF is known for its superior engineering that leads to exceptionally quiet fans.
THIS IS NOT Close to Quiet. A near silent hum of a motor is about 45 decibels. This is 75- I missed this in the description. You can not talk to someone if they are near this fan. It also has a “turbo fan” sound (TWO) that is really cool as a workshop sound but the high speed whirls are annoying for a patio. The quality is great- the sound is a disappointment. Please know the product works as described- it’s just loud.

Nice and Cool! Great addition to the plant!
I purchased two of these units for our production facility. The plant is not air conditioned, so hot and humid days can be a bear in the summer. The units were placed to blow cool air on employees and WOW were they super appreciative of the cooling. The first day the team even said they had to turn it down because it was so cold. They mostly ran the fan on low with the water pump on. Direct water hookup ability is nice to ensure the fan always has water. Overall great purchase and improvement for employee well being.

Superb Cooling Fan!
Our company bought these fans for our warehouse employees for the hot, humid Southeastern summers. These fans have turned our suffocating warehouses into a pleasurable work environment. They are easy to set-up, easy to clean and easy to use. These fans bring a much needed relief to our workers and has dramatically improved their demeanor during these tough summer months. Doesn't Work
We bought the Evaporative Cooler 200, unboxed it and it didn't work. We requested a new one which was to ship the following week. Then, when we called to check on the ETA, they said it wouldn't ship for several weeks. So, BAF agreed to refund us the money. They would tell us what to do with the new defective cooler that they shipped. Then, the second cooler arrived - this is the cooler that wasn't supposed to ship. Now we have 2 coolers. I asked them to tell us how they want to handle the original cooler return since the packaging was thrown away when we unpacked the original cooler since we expected it to work right off the assembly line. We received a dual RMA, but no instructions on how to ship back the original cooler.Customer service is great when you call them, but there isn't any quality in the follow up on what was agreed upon, time after time.

Not what we expect from BigAss
Casters do not go all the way in, so makes it wobbly. Instructions are very bad. To clean you should take out filters, but they are made of paper and they crumble. Impossible to get them out.

Hold Fast Brewing in Springfield, MO does not have internal air conditioning. With the summer, specially June of 2022, getting SO hot last year it impacted business; we then made the decision to invest in a Big Ass Fan. It was the best thing we could have done, we have a large taproom and it adequately cooled it down a noticeable amount. It’s now a summertime staple that continues to allow us to serve the community year-round. We love it!

I need cool air!
We are very happy with the Cool-Space 400's we ordered for our plant. They lower the temperatures and it spreads out to the extent of our Big Ass Fans capabilities (about 110ft). Staying close to a water source or installing a water line ensures the tanks stay full and works as it should. Great product!

Takes the edge off
We have been using the product for a year now and the guys love it. We have two units that provide excellent coverage for our shop. On those hot days they put out a nice cool flow of air. Depending on humidity level they drop the air temperature 10-15 degrees. Absolutely takes the edge off.

Great addition to our shop.
This unit is a great addition to our shop. We are unable to use a ceiling Big Ass Fan, due to the nature of our business. In the Florida heat the fan we have is a blessing. We had one issue with it and replacement parts were sent quickly and under warranty. Changed parts and unit was working fine, until one of my tech moved it to another location and it stopped working correctly. Called tech-support and they went thru some troubleshooting with me and found it was a power source issue, due to using too small of an extension cord. Larger extension cord and hasn't missed a lick since.

Love us some Big ass fans
We have purchased , a hand full of the Cool space 400 . For our mechanic shop here , the guys love them . We had one that the pump went out . It was a phone call and boom we had a new pump here . The customer service IS AMAZING , along with the fans

Life Saving!
The amount of relief this unit has provided is hard to quantify. We are a manufacturing shop in the heart of Sun Valley, CA and let me assure you, the name is spot on. Regular temps over 100f.
This fan, rated for around 6,000 sf does actually cool down half of our 12,000 sf around 15 degrees. My workers on the floor are ecstatic!
Another unit may be in the future for next summer.

This item saved our event in hot weather
We were going to have a very important event in a place without air conditioners. Big Ass Fans saved us by installing ceiling fans and telling us about the Cool-space 500. this evaporative coolers provided the cold air while their fans distributed the cold air all over the place. our event was a success and our guests were comfortable inside our venue.

Great for manufacturing production floor.
We run a lot of ovens in our production and the facility can get very hot in the summer and still pretty warm in the winter. Our production floor employees were relieved when we purchased a couple of these fans. They really do push cooler air. Our shop employees really do like these and have been a big help on the floor. We had previously purchased another brand and the BAF were a lot more solid and better build to last. Highly recommend and will keep purchasing these from BAF.

More than expected, great company
After searching around online I finally decided to buy the unit and boy I’ll tell you, I made the right decision. If you are considering a portable cooler this is it. One thing that I’ve learned is to be frugal with how much water you put on the pads. Less is more . It will cool better with less water running.
